With ecclesiastical order and splendor, the Holy Monastery of Saint John the Hut-Dweller of Psachna of the Holy Metropolis of Chalkida celebrated on January 14 and 15, 2026.

 

On Wednesday evening, January 14, the Great Festive Vespers was performed, presided over by the Most Reverend Bishop of Skiathos, Mr. Ioannis – Arch Secretary of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece.

 

On Thursday morning, January 15, our Most Reverend Shepherd, Metropolitan of Chalkida Mr. Chrysostomos presided at Matins, while the Most Reverend Bishop of Skiathos, Mr. Ioannis, led the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, during which the Most Reverend Mr. Chrysostomos delivered the divine sermon.

 

The holy choir was served by Protopresbyter Anargyros Stouraitis, and Messrs. Nikolaos Tzigianis, Vasileios Stouraitis, and Christos Tsitsakis.

 

The celebration of the Holy Monastery was also broadcast by the Radio Station of our Holy Metropolis (97.7).
