For the fourteenth consecutive year, the local Church of Chalkida is about to welcome and host portions of the holy relics of the Holy New Martyrs of Lesvos, Raphael, Nicholas and Irene.

The reception of the holy relics will take place on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Parish Holy Church of the Annunciation of the Theotokos in Kanithos, Chalkida, where they will remain until Sunday, January 25, 2026, in the morning.

On Monday, January 12, 2026, Orthros, an Archieratical presiding, and an Archieratical concelebration will be held on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the enthronement of our Most Reverend Shepherd, Metropolitan of Chalkida Mr. Chrysostomos.

At the same time, the ordination to the Presbyterate of Deacon Christos Ramantanakis will also take place.
